It’s definitely a long process and trust me I understand that it is tough! Honestly just try to treat both of them the same even if he isn’t as accepting of you. It truly does get better. Just takes a bit of time:)

The great thing is my daughter and my bonus son are only 5 days apart. I thought they would be like twins but nope… polar opposites too!! I know it will get better so I am just going to be patient. I feel like every time we have a breakthrough something happens and he is right back to being the little boy that only sees his father when he walks in a room.
