It’s so crazy how life works out! I would’ve NEVER thought Jania and I would get along like we do now but it truly is a blessing:) Glad to hear that your situation worked out for the best too☺️

So very weird, but I have the same story…somewhat! My son and his brother are 9 months a part! Us, Mommies, didn’t get it right until we sat down and discussed it all! The boys love each other dearly and it’s like me and the mom talk like we never had beef! 🙂

First of all, YASSSSSSSS writing skills! This comment just gave me all kinds of feels and when you inserted the rolling eye emoji- I lost it! I’m glad to know I’m not alone in the whole diverted-from-life-master-plan situation lol. I’m so very happy for you and the amazing future you have ahead of you! Can’t wait till you give that beautiful daughter of yours a brother!!!!! Lmao

Needless to say my journey went WAAAAAAY left! Like all the way out of the way left lol I did not marry my angel’s father, ain’t no damn daycare, I was renting everywhere or sleeping on couches (Because my struggle was THAT real lol but the modest car I somehow manage to work that part out perfectly. *Inserts eye roll emoji. But here I am almost 8 years later about to marry the man of my dream, in the home we purchased in August. Just took me a little longer to get here than I planned and I took a completely different route than the one I mapped out for myself. But I’m super proud of the road I travelled and all its ups and downs and twist and turns. It helped shaped me into the mom I am for my little soldier. Having my little one definitely helped me to value myself more and step my whole life up lol Kids will do that for you. *There’s a blessing in every storm.

It’s always nice to hear that other women have had similar experiences and handled the situations well because as we both know, this shit is hard. I think you’ll the right time to post. Our kids are in the double digits and the relationship between everyone is at a point that I felt like me posting wouldn’t stir the pot. If you think you’re there, I’d say go for it:) Writing is therapeutic and it may just help you find even more closure that you didn’t even know you needed.

I just had this sit down with my sons brother Dev 27 and we talked for four hours!! We never had any dispute more of he was lying to us both. I’m the long time girlfriend known to family and she was someone he’d started dating while “trying to fix his wrongs for his family”. Her whole pregnancy I was depressed lost weight everything, but when I finally met her she’s very much like me: strong, independent, and not for his crap! I think that conversation and finding out the truth from each other definitely allowed closure for me FINALLY. We both want our sons to have a relationship despite us both not really feelin their dad anymore. It’s hard as hell but that’s what real women do! I also debated about posting my story on my blog because it’s still so fresh (her son is almost one and mine almost four)
