They discussed a hysterectomy with me too. I decided against it then but with more fibroids popping up left and right, I may just take them up on the offer. Nice to know other people understand how tough it can be and have been through similar situations. Thanks for your comment:)

I battled with fibroids for years, until my doctor basically told me to live with the constant pain and 40 days periods or get a hysterectomy. Safe to say, while I wish I still had a baby making factory, I had to close those doors forever. Thanks for sharing your story. Most women think they just have “bad periods” and they do not realize it could be much more severe.

Yeah they are a major pain in the butt! But the surgery really isn’t that bad- just a little scary:)

I’m told they’re about the size of a grapefruit and an orange. And my iron gets low too. They do suck because sometimes I can feel them when I’m stretching before dancing, or laying on my stomach.
